As a longtime fan of the Indy Racing League (IRL), I know that pit crews have always been intrinsic to a team's success. It’s easy for me, then, to compare the pit crew/race team relationship to that of Forsythe and Sun and our clients. A successful pit crew has to be able to adapt quickly to the needs of the race car as it pulls into the pit lane. Throughout the years, Forsythe has been able to adapt to changes in the industry: shifting client needs, fluctuating regulatory requirements, new Sun products, etc. Forsythe is there behind the scenes—greasing the wheels and tightening the lug nuts, so to speak.Forsythe and Sun have had a strong partnership for some time now, and it’s good to know that we are on the same page. As with any transition, the upcoming Oracle merger will require our partnership to remain flexible and adaptable. It’s personally gratifying to know that such a well-respected and successful company like Oracle is not limited to, but strongly recognizes, the value of technology like Java and Solaris. How fortuitous of Forsythe and our Sun team to have made a strategic decision two years ago to invest time, energy and resources into the Solaris practice. The combined power of Oracle products along with the strength of Solaris will help us continue to provide the most comprehensive solutions for our clients.
